Collection: Grammatophyllums and specimen sized orchids

Grammatophyllum, or "Gram" in horticultural trade, is a genus of 13 orchid species known for their striking, waxy flowers and impressive size. Originating from tropical rainforests in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, these epiphytic orchids thrive in warm, humid environments.

Their blooms range from yellow-green to olive-green with deep purplish-red markings, adding a unique visual appeal. The plants grow from pseudobulbs, which in some species—like the giant orchid (Grammatophyllum speciosum)—can reach up to 2.5 meters long and form clusters weighing hundreds of kilograms.

Because of their unique size and beauty, they are often used as centerpieces in orchid shows and displays, usually garnering ribbons and if grown well enough, cultural awards.
